When is the conference?Â
The conference will be held on November 20-21, 2026.

Where will the conference be held?
The conference will take place at Centennial High School, located at 55 Sun Valley Blvd SE, Calgary, AB.

How to register for SouthMUN 2026?
Teachers are able to register their delegates online through our Google form, which can be found on our registration page. Registration will be open on October 1, 2026.

When is the registration deadline?
The deadline for teachers to register delegates will be November 16, 2026.Â

Are there any fees for participating in SouthMUN?
Yes, there is a $30 registration fee per delegate and a $30 fee for each school/delegation. For example, a school with 7 delegates would have to pay $240 (7 delegates x $30 per delegate = $210, $210 + $30 per school = $240). More information on how to pay these fees will be shared on our registration form.

When will background guides/committee topics be released?
Committee descriptions and topics will be released in early September. Background guides and any other committee information (such as our Country Matrix) will be released on October 16.

Who is running SouthMUN?
SouthMUN is a conference that was arranged by students from different Calgary high schools. The chairs who will run committee and create background guides for delegates are full-time students or alumni of Centennial High School or All Saints High School, with prior experience in MUN conferences. The secretariat staff of SouthMUN primarily consists of students or alumni from Centennial High School, the host school, with supervision and guidance from teacher coordinators.

Who will supervise SouthMUN?
The conference will be overseen by our committee chairs and secretariat staff members, who are either high school students or alumni. Our teacher coordinators from Centennial High School will also be available to supervise throughout the weekend, and teachers from other schools are welcome to sit in to support their delegates!
